How to use rotary evaporator

Rotary evaporator is widely used in chemical industry, medical treatment and so on. What methods should be paid attention to when using the optional evaporator?

　　1. Height adjustment: manual lifting, turn the hand wheel above the machine column, turn forward to rise, reverse to fall. Electric lifting, hand touch the up key, the host rises, and the hand touches the down key, the host goes down.

　　2. There are two external joints on the condenser for connecting cooling water. One end is connected with inlet water and the other end is connected with water. Generally, tap water is connected. The lower the temperature of condensate water, the better the effect. The upper port is equipped with a vacuum connector, which is connected with the vacuum pump leather tube for vacuumizing.

　　3. Before starting the machine, turn the speed control knob to small, press the power switch, and the indicator light will be on, and then turn it to the right slowly to the required speed. Generally, medium and low speed are used for large evaporation bottles, and lower speed is used for solutions with high viscosity. The flask is standard interface No.24, and two kinds of flasks, 500ml and 1000ml, are attached at random. Generally, the amount of solution should not exceed 50%.
